Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum

For several months I have been dreaming about going to Silver Star with the gang and hiking to the top. Weeks went by and we never planned it. Then trips began getting in the way. The ranch, New Hampshire, and Tri-Cities. Those were awesome but I still wanted to go up to my beloved Silver Star! Finally, we planned it for a Sunday. It has been a horrible drought so weren't we a little disappointed when we awoke Sunday morning to a down pour of rain? (Though it was a answer to prayers!)
Colten suggested going to a air museum he'd seen instead. So, after lunch at Rocky's, we headed out! And it wasn't a disappointment! We loved seeing all the old planes, as well as the replica's. If you ever have the chance, you should make a visit!
We didn't have as much time as we would have liked and were rushed through the space section, but it was still very interesting.
Mm... my personal favorite pizza. Ever.

Almost there!

Here we are!

The wing of the "Spruce Goose". It's H-U-G-E!

I found this interesting as I had never heard of it before!

The space section had two stories but we were only
able to rush through one as we only had twenty minutes to closing!

  1. What a lovely group of young people! Proud of you all! Is this up north off the highway? I think we drive by it on our way to Seattle.
